The VAT of 21% is a mandatory tax and cannot simply be abolished by a retailer during an offer. However, we can give away the same percentage as a discount in the form of an offer. Calculation example A Pegaso table with a round top of 130 cm. costs € 2,315.94 (including VAT). To calculate how much this table costs without VAT, use the following formula: € 2,315.94 x (100/121) = € 1,914.00 (excluding VAT). In the webshop we then assume this price as the INCLUSIVE VAT price and you have therefore obtained a 21% discount. We then pay the statutory 21% VAT of this offer including VAT price as stated with your order.
